The “NSB.Soft” is web based software tool for management of standardization, certification, training and other activities in the National Standards Body (NSB). Including the administration of the website, document management and more.
It consists of more than 50 different modules, which may be adapted to the specific processes in the NSB. The main modules are intended for Standardization, Certification and Training activities.
As the “NSB.Soft” is intended for standardization bodies the most important module is the Standardization one. It is especially designed to manage the data and files workflow with the international organizations ISO and IEC and the European ones - CEN and CENELEC using the new Harmonized Data Models. The software is appropriate for all NSBs which are members of ISO, IEC and/or CEN and CENELEC.
The software is designed to integrate the national standards database and the European and international ones. It is intended to include all national projects and publications and also all CEN, CENELEC, ISO and IEC projects and publications. It allows to be given full access to all documents including XML versions of the standards.
The Standardization module is designed for management of projects, project voting, translations, publications, technical committees, directives and regulations.
The Certification module is useful for all NSBs which perform certification activities. It allows management of data about issued certificates, customers, audits, accreditations and activity reports. There are shared sub modules with other departments such as companies, meetings, document control, document exchange, issue tracking module.
Another very useful module is the one intended for Trainings. It allows managing of trainings program, managing of trainings related documents and there is an instructor sub module. The trainings types may be training courses, in-house training, on-line training (video lesson). The price and payment of the trainings are also covered here.
The “NSB.Soft” also manages the Sales activities such as orders, invoices and preinvoices, promotions, customers, currency exchange rates, shipping fees.
Single sign-on is used for the “NSB.Soft” and the website. It allows access and rights management for different type of users.
The “NSB.Soft” is successfully implemented in several NSBs.
